Black Mountain Estates in North Carolina Properties for Sale

Black Mountain Estates is unique in that it is one of the few areas in Black Mountain that offers both beautiful mountain views and public utilities. Almost all of the properties for sale in Black Mountain Estates are re-sales, as the original developer owns only a few lots in the neighborhood. There are typically just a few houses for sale at any one time, and most of them have long range mountain views. Vacant lots in Black Mountain Estates will be sloping to steep, requiring an experienced builder but also offering exceptional views. Some of the west-facing lots can see as far as Mount Pisgah on a clear day!

Black Mountain Estates properties are in the highest elevation neighborhood on Allen Mountain, the mountain that rises above the Black Mountain Golf Course. In 2009, several adjoining lots were platted as The Ridge at Black Mountain Estates, a new neighborhood of upscale contemporary homes.  Also nearby is Mountain Vista Estates, a community of high-end townhomes and some single-family homes. These are both separate neighborhoods, but the quality of homes is consistent across these communities, as they were all done by the same developer.
