Properties for Sale in Lake View Park
Best known for beautiful Beaver Lake, the Lake View Park community is one of the most sought-after addresses in Asheville. There are approximately 500 homes in the neighborhood. Beaver Lake is owned by the residents, and it offers fishing, boating (non-motorized), and a walking trail around the lake. Lake View Park was designed by renowned landscape architect and cit planner John Nolen.
The homes available in Lake View Park include a wide variety of styles, sizes, and ages. The oldest homes here were built as early as 1917, yet many of the homes that come on the market are mid-century homes, often updated with modern touches. There are even some newer homes in the neighborhood. Architectural styles include ranches, bungalows, contemporary, and modern homes.
Some homes in Lakeview Park do have long-range mountain views, but the typical lot is about half an acre or so with a wooded feel. Because the neighborhood is so well-established (over 100 years old), the landscaping and trees are lush and full. This is one reason Lakeview Park feels so inviting to buyers. And because further subdivision of lots is not permitted in Lakeview Park, the community will remain at the current level of density.
Much more information and photos are available on the Lake View Park Community website.
