And in North Carolina, new homes typically sell with a one-year builder’s warranty, as well as the remaining warranties that come with the appliances, roof, HVAC system, etc.
In the Asheville area, new “spec” homes are available in almost every price range. Many of these homes are sold while they are still under construction, giving the new owners the opportunity to choose colors, finishes, and upgrades prior to the completion of the home. There are also quite a few “pre-construction” home listings in our market. Also known as “proposed” construction, these listings often have an architect’s rendering instead of a photo of the home.
